KARAK: A woman lost her life while her two children sustained injuries when roof of their house caved in due to gas cylinder blast in Nari Paos area of the district on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the ill-fated family had just woke up and as the woman lit fire to prepare breakfast, the cylinder exploded due to gas leakage and roof of the house fell upon them.
The woman whose name could not be ascertained died under the rubble while her young daughter and son sustained critical injuries.
The area people retrieved the body and injured from the rubble and shifted them to district headquarter hospital.
