KARACHI: Impartation of technical training to youngsters helps in the process of national development and for the creation of job opportunities.
This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari.
He was speaking as chief guest at a ceremony to award certificates to home less and deprived youngsters in technical skills at the Memon Industrial and Technical Training Institute here on Tuesday.
The training was imparted under the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme by the Sindh Department of Youth Affairs with the collaboration of Memon Industrial and Technical Training Institute.
The Minister said that such training programmes also prove helpful in enabling youngsters to get employment opportunities and stand on their own feet.
He also pointed out that because of headway in small industries Chinese economy flourished tremendously.
Sindh Secretary Youth Affairs, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and Director Youth Affairs, Khurshid Ali Shaikh, also expressed their views on the occasion.
