KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and chemical were allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile one more ship scheduled to load/offload containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45% at the Port on Monday where total number of five ships namely Maersk Georgia, MSC Lana, As Olivia MV, Ana Dorothea and Vermilion Energy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, urea, chemical and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 114048 tonnes comprising 81456 tonnes imports and 32592 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried In 3250 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
