ATHENS: Greece sold an additional 187.5 million euros of six-month T-bills in a non-competitive supplementary sale on Thursday, the country's debt agency PDMA said.
Greece sold 812.5 billion euros of six-month paper on Tuesday at a yield of 4.68 percent, two basis points lower than in a previous auction.
Monthly T-bill sales are Greece's sole source of market funding. Greek banks traditionally buy the bulk of the issues, meaning funding costs do not fully reflect the strains of the country's debt crisis.
