Sialkot Stallions to play in CL T20

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed participation of the Sialkot Stallions in the upcoming Champions League T20 (CL T20) in South Africa.

Pakistan’s domestic champions Sialkot Stallions, led by all-rounder Shoaib Malik, will represent the country in the tournament for the first time.

Earlier, due to the freeze in Indo-Pak cricket ties, Pakistani players were barred from participation in the CL T20 and Indian Premiere League (IPL).

However, the PCB announced the decision after receiving an official invitation from the Champions League organizers.

The CL T20 is scheduled to be held from October 9 to October 28 with six teams participating in the event.

CL T20 will serve as a good opportunity for domestic Pakistani players to showcase their talent by competing against the best domestic T20 teams of the world.
