national-assembly 400ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday approved 17 demands of grants worth Rs. 170,399,536,000 for Cabinet Secretariat for the fiscal year 2012-13.

The demands of grants presented to the House by Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh included Rs. 191,414,000 for the Federal Government to meet expenditures in respect of Cabinet, Rs. 3,289,899,000 in respect of Cabinet Division, Rs. 204,664,000 in respect of Emergency Relief and Repatriation, Rs. 6,492,281,000 in respect of other expenditures of Cabinet Division and Rs. 2,022,315,000 in respect of Establishment Division.

Similarly, demands worth Rs. 357,542,000 in respect of Federal Public Service Commission, Rs. 982,842,000 in respect of other expenditure of Establishment Division, Rs. 702,833,000 in respect of Prime Minister's Secretariat, Rs. 189,252,000 in respect of Board of Investment and Rs. 1,764,639,000 in respect of National Accountability Bureau were also approved.

The other demands that were approved included Rs. 53,420,000 in respect of Prime Minister's Inspection Commission, Rs. 5,333,950,000 in respect of Atomic Energy, Rs. 69,259,000 in respect of Stationery Printing, Rs. 39,177,800,000 in respect of Development Expenditure of Cabinet Division, Rs. 70,000,000,000 in respect of other development expenditure of Cabinted Division outside PSDP and Rs. 39,567,426,000 in respect of Capital Outlay on Development of Atomic Energy.

Similarly, a demand of Rs. 616,708,000 in respect of staff, household and allowances of the President was granted under the charged expenditures.
