textile-industry LAHORE: The Punjab government has allocated a sum of Rs 7.207 billion for industries in the budget for year 2012-13.

According to budget documents, Rs3.549 billion will be spent on salaries of employees whereas remaining amount of Rs3.657 billion is reserved for non-salary expenditure.

TEVTA will receive about Rs6 billion as a grant in aid which is slightly higher than the last year whereas an amount of Rs76 million has been reserved for Headquarters establishment.

Rs 11 million has been reserved for Inspectorate of Boilers and an amount of Rs62 million will be spent on Headquarters establishment.

Inspectorate of Mines will receive an amount of Rs133 million whereas Punjab Small Industries will get Rs537 million as grant in aid.

Rs153 million has been reserved for Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate and Rs125 million has been reserved for Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.

Sasti Roti Authority will receive Rs 12 million and 68 million will be spent on regional establishment.

It is pertinent to mention that no funds has been reserved for Pak-China Bureau in the budget for 2012-13.
