Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that there is a dangerous impression prevailing amongst Karachiites that first the status of the port city was changed, then its citizens were deprived of government jobs, and then key institutions were shifted from here and now the last surviving source of employment i.e. business, is also being destroyed by corrupt and incompetent provincial and federal governments through biasness.

Kamal said that Karachi, which contributes 68 percent of revenue to the national exchequer, is deprived of its basic rights. Those so-called representatives of Karachi sitting in different tiers of government are not serious about resolving even Karachi's basic problems. PSP strongly condemns the discriminatory approach of the government towards the business community of Karachi during the lockdown, which strengthen the perception of ulterior motives behind Karachi's debacle.

He expressed these views while addressing a high level delegation of the business community led by prominent business leader President All Karachi Tajir Ittehad (AKTI) Atiq Mir at the party's Central Secretariat Pakistan House.

Mustafa Kamal further said that the present system and the rulers have completely failed to solve the problems of the people. The patience of people is fast losing, and no power on the earth can control the situation, if the people take to streets against this corrupt system. Incompetent and corrupt rulers value their political and personal interests more than the national interest. As government has completely failed to deliver rations to the doorsteps of the coronavirus-hit people, therefore, all traders should be allowed to resume businesses without any discrimination so that people may not die of hunger. The government should also devise a strategy for traders and avoid starvation and even death too due to coronavirus.

Pak Sarzameen Party supports all legitimate demands of Karachi businessmen. Members of the National Council were also present on the occasion.
