A soldier Lance Naik Ali Baz and two women were martyred on Thursday due to unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing in Kailer and Rakhchikri Sectors along LoC and targeted Pakistan Army posts with automatics and heavy weapons. Pakistani soldiers responded which resulted in 'heavy losses to Indian troops in men and material'.

Similarly, Indian forces targeted innocent civilians in Rakchikri Sector. Due to indiscriminate fire in Kirni village, a girl, 16, and a woman, 52, were martyred. A boy, 10, and a woman 55 were also injured due to Indian forces' deliberate targeting of the innocent.
