Pakistan Railways Karachi Division has distributed ration bags, donated by Pakistan Army, amongst its coolies and daily wage workers on Thursday.
The ration bags have been received by the needy ones who are economically hit-hard owing to the suspension of train operation in the wake of corona pandemic.
A cumulative of 1148 ration bags at two railway stations of the Karachi Division, 1000 at Cantt Station Karachi and 148 at Hyderabad station, have been disbursed Thursday by DS Karachi Division Nisar Memon and Deputy DS Fateh Mohammad Janvri respectively.
Besides the ration donated by the Pakistan Army, the HBL also sent a truck, fully loaded with ration bags, at Cantt station Karachi that was distributed accordingly amongst the needy ones.
Prior to that the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has also given the similar ration bags at Lahore Railway station to the destitute coolies and daily wage workers.
