(Karachi) Two more people infected with coronavirus have expired in Sindh, confirmed Provincial Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Sunday.

In a tweet, Wahab said that 93 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Sindh. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the province has reached 1,411.

He stated that so far, 389 people have recovered from the disease while the tally of deaths is 30. He mentioned that 18 people have recovered from the deadly disease during the last 24 hours in Sindh.

The confirmed coronavirus cases across Pakistan has surpassed the 5,000 figure. Till date, 88 deaths have been recorded while 1,026 people have recovered from the virus.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that 68.3 per cent of the province's Covid-19 cases have been reported in men, while the remaining 31.7 per cent were reported in women.

In a video message, the CM said: "The ratio shows that men are more vulnerable than women as they frequently leave their homes and do not care to practice social distancing as advised by experts."
