Development of IT sector: PM for formulating comprehensive roadmap

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday directed to prepare a roadmap within one week to establish special technology zones, issuance of 5 G-spectrum as well connecting big towers with fiber in big cities for promotion of information technology in the country.

While chairing a high level meeting here, he also directed that all the bottlenecks should be removed to promote IT. He stated that promotion of IT is government's priority as there is a great potential in IT sector. Pakistani youth have great interest in IT sector and government would provide every possible help to them. He added that government would facilitate the free lancers and IT sector promotion would provide employment opportunities to the youth.
