All hurdles to give possession of 487 plots of LDA Avenue1's affectees in block A, B, D and G have been removed. In order to ensure transparency, plots were allotted through computerized balloting, which was held with the cooperation of PITB.
Provincial Minister for Housing Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed who was the chief guest of the balloting ceremony held here on Thursday said that many attempts were made to solve the most complicated matter of Avenue1 which were not proved fruitful. Hundreds of people were worried due to this problem and owners of concerned societies were also circling around the courts.
He said that Vice Chairman LDA S M Imran solved this issue by taking personal interest and consultation committee, DG LDA and concerned officers deserve congratulation in this regard.
