Two people were killed and four others were injured during a clash between two tribes in a protest against the induction of Public Health Department Gijal Kohistan.

During the protest against the induction in Public Health Department on a minor dispute a clash between the two tribes Kadir Khail and Shato Khail turned bloody when both groups opened fire on each other.

At least two persons including Muhammad Saleem son of Abdul Jaleel and Abdul Raoof son of Abdul Azid while four others were injured those were shifted to Basham hospital where two of them were declared critical and referred to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad.

After the incident both groups entrench at Dobeer near China Bridge Jeejal against each other while a large number of the police also cordoned off the Jeejal to avoid further bloodshed in the area.

Police sources claimed that the cause of clash was old enmity and the both dead persons belonged to Shatto Khail tribe. Lower Kohistan police also arrested few people of both tribes locked them up and deployed force at Jeejal to avoid any untoward situation.
