The Advisor to CM Sindh on Works and Services, Universities & Boards Nisar Khuhro said that Sindh had not been given funds of its share by the federal government and therefore the people-welfare development schemes could not be completed in time.

He said that being the people's representative political party we were aware of problems of the people and with limited resources we were trying to resolve people's problems.

He was responding on the complaints of the people in the open katcheri held on the directives of Chief Minister Sindh at Circuit House Lawn in Hyderabad on Saturday.

He said that on the directives of Chief Minister Sindh the members of the Provincial cabinet were holding open katcheries in the district head quarters of Sindh so that problems of the people could be resolved at their doorsteps. He directed the officers of different government departments to focus on resolving people's genuine problems on merit and deal with people gently and provide them satisfactory relief.

In the open katcheri citizens and people belonging to different political parties complained about non-cleanliness, sewerage, water supply, loads shedding of electricity, detection bills of Hesco, Health, Bus Terminal, encroachment, roads, non-availability of play grounds and parks, regularisation of teachers, low pressure of gas, fumigation and other problems.

Khuhro directed all the concerned officers to resolve the problems of people without delay and submit a report to him. He informed that such open katcheries would continue to be held.

People in the open katcheri lauded initiative of Sindh government for holding open katcheries for resolving problems of the people in all the district head quarters of Sindh.

The Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Mohammed Abbas Baloch, DC Hyderabad Aisha Abro, SSP Hyderabad Adeel Chandio, Additional Deputy Commissioner Yusuf Shaikh, all Divisional and district heads of government departments, elected representatives and people of Hyderabad attended the open katcheri.
