In response to PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif's press conference on the issue of Nawaz Sharif, Adviser to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the PTI government facilitated Nawaz Sharif on the human grounds.
Talking to the media on Thursday in front of the Parliament House, Awan said that the PTI government has facilitated Nawaz Sharif for going aboard for health treatment on the humanitarian ground by fulfilling legal requirements. She said that it is nothing but propaganda against the PTI's government. She said that the Sharif family has mortgaged the country in term of debts but it is not ready to mortgage its palace against Nawaz Sharif.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Sharif family itself is playing with the health of Nawaz Sharif as he should have been in any hospital. "Give us indemnity bond and go to London for treatment," she said. She while addressing Shahbaz Sharif said that it is not ransom. She said what Shahbaz Sharif is saying is nothing but propaganda.
Answering a question, she said that the PTI government would accept and implement the court's decision whatever it comes today (Friday).
She said that the names of two persons are being mentioned who went abroad by getting their names excluded from the Exit Control List (ECL) but they were not convicted by the courts.
About the statement of the chairman Senate, she said that in this regard, the government would look into the laws and rules and procedure then to take decision.
