Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said the decision - whether Nawaz Sharif will remain in Services Hospital for the treatment or he will be treated from somewhere else - will be taken by the Sharif family.

Talking to reporters after Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted interim bail to Sharif in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference, she thanked people for praying for Sharif and urged them to continue praying for his early recovery.

She also appealed the whole nation to continue praying for Sharif's health, adding that health condition of the former premier is improving but platelet count improves only during the treatment.

She further said that Sharif suffered a minor heart attack and all facts regarding his health were presented before the court.

She said that the IHC announced the verdict after listening to the arguments of all relevant parties. She said that this is first time Sharif is suffering from such disease and diagnosis is necessary at this critical stage.

Responding to a question, she said that Sharif family would decide whether the treatment of Sharif would continue in Services Hospital under this medical board or from somewhere else.

A large number of PML-N workers were present at the premises of IHC and they welcomed the court's verdict with distribution of sweets.
