'Kashmir is our jugular vein': DG ISPR says Pakistan will go to any length to protect it
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army stands with them and will go to any length to protect their land.
Addressing a presser on Wednesday, the DG ISPR said that we want to tell India that wars are not only fought with weapons and economy but with patriotism. The DG ISPR continued that Pakistan has avoided escalation and that 'nuclear countries have no room for war'.
He said that Modi’s government has changed direction from what Nehru planned for India and has continued to attack Pakistan and convicted spy Kulbhushan Jadhav is an example. He further said that if Modi government carries out any false-flag operation then a befitting response will be given to it.

Saying that Kashmir is our jugular vein, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan and its army stands with them and will go to any length to protect it. "We stand with Kashmiris in their struggle for independence," the DG ISPR reiterated.
Referring to Modi's stance that he did not want mediation, the DG ISPR asked, "If you don't want mediation, then what did you talk to United States President Donald Trump about?"
The military spokesperson further said that Pakistan is trying to steer global attention towards Indian violations in IoK and added that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister have talked to several nations' heads and foreign ministers.
