Britain Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to ask the Queen to suspend Parliament, two months before United Kingdom leaves the European Union (EU).

According to BBC, the government will seek to extend the period during which parliament does not normally sit, shutting it for around a month until October 14. This move is part of a drive to prevent politicians from delaying its Brexit plan. This mean MPs will not have time to pass any laws that could stop Johnson from taking the UK out of the EU without a deal.

According to international media, Johnson has said that a Queen's Speech would take place after the suspension, on October 14to outline his very exciting agenda.

Earlier, Johnson said that while the chances of a Brexit deal is touch and go, Britain is a ‘great, great country’ and can ‘easily cope’ with a no-deal Brexit after October 31. "I think we can get through this, this is a great, great country, the UK, we can easily cope with a no-deal scenario," he added.
