BAHAWALPUR: Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture Lala Muhammad Tahir Randhawa has said that the Punjab government has earmarked Rs 15.489 billion for 47 mega developmental schemes for the agriculture sector.
He made these remarks in a press statement issued here today. "These huge funds would further modernize the agriculture infrastructure which would boost per hector yield that would bring prosperity hundred of million farmers across Punjab province" Lala Tahir maintained.
He further said that the economic vision of the current government in the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar is aimed to ensure sustainable food security which depends upon synchronizing our agricultures infrastructure on modern lines.
