MOSCOW: Russia has prepared a compromise proposal on oil transit tariffs through Belarus which Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak and his Belarus counterpart Igor Lyashenko will discuss on Saturday, Kozak's representative said on Friday.

Belarus in June proposed raising its transit tariff for Russian oil by 21.7% to compensate it for a major contamination earlier this year.
