Malaysian PM presented with guard of honor at PM House

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad was given a welcome reception and a guard of honor at Prime Minister House on Friday.

PM Imran Khan was present along with the Malaysian premier at the PM House. National anthems of both the countries were played as part of the welcome reception. The Malaysian premier will be the guest of honor on Pakistan Day parade on March 23.

Mohamad arrived in Pakistan on Thursday night along with a high-level delegation on a three-day visit. The Malaysian PM is visiting the country at the invitation of PM Khan. The two countries are expected to sign three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth $900 million.

“The two prime ministers will also speak at the Round Table meeting of the CEOs of Industries, who desire to invest in automobile and telecommunication sectors of Pakistan," according to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
