On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,992. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 105.617 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 91,548.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 91.547 billion followed by Gold PKR 7.729 billion, SP500 PKR 2.077 billion, WTI Crude Oil PKR 1.961 billion, DJ PKR 781.404 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 606.765 million, Silver PKR 508.285 million, Platinum PKR 253.292 million, Natural Gas PKR 79.222 million, Copper PKR 63.845 million and Brent Crude Oil PKR 9.018 million. In agriculture 5 lots of Cotton amounting at PKR 2.304 million were traded.
