Several parts of Karachi faced power outage as the city received isolated showers on Friday morning. The power affected areas include Korangi, Malir, Shah Faisal, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Safoora Goth, Kaemari, North Nazimabad, Bahadurabad, Tariq Road, Lucky Star, North Karachi, Baldia, Saddar, Landhi, Orangi etc. Meanwhile, KE spokesman claimed to have restored the electricity of affected areas. "Power supply to strategic installations including key hospitals, KW&SB pumping stations, and the airport remained unaffected throughout," he said.
