A blood donation camp was organised by joint efforts of UNHCR and Hamza Foundation welfare thalassemia hospital and Blood Services Peshawar at University Town Peshawar. The main purpose of the blood donation camp was to collect blood from healthy individuals according to safe blood transfusion system and later on it will be provided to 1184 registered patients of Thalassemia, hemophilia and blood cancer patients for saving their precious lives, according to a press release issued here on Sunday. A great number of healthy young volunteers and staff of UNHCR donated their blood for saving the ailing humanity.
