On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,910. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 16.443 billion and the number of lots traded 15,667. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 10.288 billion, followed by gold PKR 3.016 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.205 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 868.192 million, DJ PKR 528.693 million, SP500 PKR 243.155 million, silver PKR 158.898 million, platinum PKR 90.416 million, copper PKR 22.790 million, natural gas PKR 15.178 million and Brent crude oil PKR 6.030 million.
In agriculture commodities 3 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 12.312 million and 8 lots of wheat valued at PKR 4.130 million were traded.
