Imran-led government working to steer country out of economic problems: Elahi

Acting Governor Punjab Ch Parvez Elahi on Wednesday said the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan is working with good intention to pull the country out of economic problems and traders' community should fully cooperate with the government in this regard. He said this while talking to a 40-member delegation of traders, which led by Central President Muhammad Ali Mian and President Lahore Nasir Hameed Khan called on him, here at the Governor's House yesterday.
Talking on the occasion, Parvez Elahi said that traders are backbone of the country's economy and assured that their problems will be resolved on priority basis. "It is the responsibility of the government to provide maximum opportunities to the traders' community for doing business," he said. The traders' representatives said the government should provide facilitation to the traders' community and address their concerns.
