Pakistani opening batsman Imam ul Haq has joined the Peshawar Zalmi squad for PSL-IV starting in Dubai from Thursday (today). Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi welcomed Imam ul Haq in the squad saying "With the inclusion of Imam, our squad has further strengthened."
Imam has played 29 T-20 matches with an average of 40.61, scoring 853 runs. Imam has scored five each centuries and half centuries, scoring 1090 runs, has proved his worth in the limited overs format.
Moreover, Peshawar Zalmi has released their official Pashto anthem for the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League.
Sung by Gul Panra and Zeek Afridi, the song in Pashto language is written by Laiq Zada. The anthem is based on the historical heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the potential of the Youth, a press release issued by the PSL franchise read. "This anthem inspires the youth to do their best every step of the way and make a mark for themselves in the world," it added.
