The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Friday recommended the Ministry of Interior to place the names of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and his brother Salman Shahbaz on Exit Control List (ECL), as two corruption inquiries are underway against them. An official of NAB said the decision to put the names of Shahbaz Sharif's sons on no-fly list was made by NAB chairman former Justice Javed Iqbal and a letter has been sent to the Ministry of Interior in this regard. Two inquiries related to income beyond means and Ramzan Sugar Mills are underway against them, he added.
Hamza Shahbaz on November 9 appeared before a joint investigation team which questioned him for two-and-a-half hour about the details of his family members' properties in and outside the country. Hamza was reportedly questioned about the affairs of Ramzan Sugar Mills. Salman is currently in London and has skipped three hearings of the NAB so far.
