Light rain expected in Karachi today, tomorrow

After witnessing cool weather and breezy winds since last few days in the port city, the meteorological department has forecasted that Karachi will get light rain and drizzle today and Saturday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, light rain is expected along Sindh-Makran coast including Karachi on Friday and Saturday. Foggy conditions are also expected in plain areas of upper Sindh, as per the Met office forecast.

On Thursday night, a fresh westerly wave hit the western parts of the country due to which different parts of the country have faced change in the weather.

Meanwhile, rain is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Sukkur divisions, while Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir will receive snowfall along with rain.
