ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Monday passed two resolutions to condemn Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and attack on Army Public School (APS) resulting the death of more than hundred innocent children and teachers.

Both the resolutions were tabled by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan.

The House condemned the grave human rights violation in Indian occupied Kashmir and urged the international community to play its role in resolving the long standing issue.

The resolution expressed serious concern over the killing of 14 Kashmiris and injuring of over two hundred others by Indian security forces in Pulwama district.

It saluted and expressed complete solidarity with brave Kashmiri people who had been engaged in peaceful protests to demand their right to self-determination.

It said the brutal tactics of occupation authorities could not deter Kashmiris for their genuine demand of freedom. It also welcomed the statement of OIC on the human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.

It urged the government of India to bring end to all human rights violations and state terrorism, lift the restriction on press and internet and give the right to the people in occupied Kashmir.

The resolution reiterated that Pakistan would continue providing diplomatic, moral and political support to Kashmiris in their just struggle for freedom.

The House passed another resolution expressing profound grief and sadness over the martyrdom of students and teachers of APS Peshawar on December 16, 2014.

It also demanded to ensure complete implementation on National Action Plan to curb the menace of terrorism.
