The Punjab Food Authority claims to have confiscated 3,960 liters of substandard milk while checking milk-carrying vehicles at pickets set up by its field teams at different entry points of the provincial metropolis. Its field teams headed by Operations Director Ayesha Mumtaz on Friday checked 105 milk vehicles out of which milk-load of nine of them was found substandard or unhygienic. The teams also took six samples which were sent to laboratories.
