Gold medallist Nasir Hussain has been appointed as coach of the Model Town Football Club. "I need to make a change or advancement in my career or profession as the set-up of the Model Town Football Club is well-equipped with infrastructure, latest facilities and scientific approach that will help me a lot. I'm so happy and grateful to be part of the ancient and famous club of Lahore," said Nasir Hussain, who was a key player for the Pakistan Navy.
He is a qualified coach who completed the Asian Federation Cup C-Certificate Football Coaching Course in Lahore in 2012 though Hussain, aged 43, is recognised for his own talent. "It is vital that a highly qualified coach can oversee the needs of players, teachers and other club coaches. Good players need talent but they also need good coaches. The most important quality a coach need is enthusiasm. Players respond brilliantly to an eager, hard working leader.
