Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here on Wednesday ordered an investigation against Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan for providing fabricated information regarding the recovery of slain Salmaan Taseer's son Shahbaz Taseer. Chaudhry Nisar took a strong notice of providing fabricated information of Shahbaz Taseer's recovery.
He constituted a two-member committee headed by special secretary interior and consisted of additional secretary interior and director general NCMC to investigate the development. He directed the committee to present a report to him within two days. According to reports, IGP Balochistan had said that the security forces raided a compound in Kuchlak area of Balochistan from where they recovered Shahbaz Taseer. The Interior Minister directed to investigate the wrong information of recovering Taseer in any operation.
