Former chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawwar Hasan inaugurated the "Book Fair 2016" being organised by Islami Jamiat Talba(IJT) Karachi University chapter on Tuesday. More than 60 national and international stalls of books were set up in which books of KU syllabus, history, philosophy, novels and on other subjects were displayed. Book fair will continue for two more days. Large number of students and teachers visited the fair. Professor Dr Rafeeq Alam and Nazim IJT Karachi Hashim Yousuf Abdali were also present there.
Prominent political, social and media personalities of the country are expected to visit the Book Fair 2016 at Karachi University. Munawwar Hasan congratulated IJT's KU chapter on the successful book fair saying that IJT was trying its best for the continuation of academic and co-curricular activities in the educational institutions. IJT official said that IJT inherited the legacy of the Students Union and continued book fair was on of its prime example.
