University of Sindh has announced the election schedule for the seats of Principals and Teachers of affiliated colleges of the Academic Council. According to notification issued by Registrar, the election for membership for the academic council would be held on Thursday 15th March 2016. According to schedule, nomination papers could be obtained from 11th February and after scrutiny, the list of nominated candidates would be declared on Thursday 3rd March.
The withdrawal of nomination papers would be accepted on Monday 7th March. And final list of nominated candidates would be issued on Thursday 10th March. After polling on 15th March, the official announcement of Election result would be made on 21st March 2016.
The university has appointed Registrar Ghulam Muhammad Bhutto, as Election/Returning Officer, while Ali Akbar Jalbani Computer Programmer (Gen) and Waseem Ahmed Shaikh, Superintendent (Admn) are assigned to work as Assistant Returning officers for the said election.
