Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with the incoming Afghan ambassador Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal on Friday in General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi. According to a brief statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest including measures to improve security along Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed during the meeting.
The CoAS discussed issues including the security situation on Pak-Afghan border with Zakhilwal. Both of the leaders exchanged ideas on improving the security of the border separating the neighbours.
