The Lahore High Court, discarding a petition by the Punjab Assembly opposition leader against alleged irregularities in purchase of medicines at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology of Lahore, has told him to take his case to a concerned forum. Opposition leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed claims medical shops have been blatantly flouting the terms and conditions of a contract by providing the institute with expensive medicines and also their management, in connivance with the government, is engaged in such a deed.
