Several changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 2750 and superior quality also lost Rs 75 to Rs 2775, other commodities held the overnight levels, they said. On the grams sector, gram Australia No 1 was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 8000, grams Australia Dall No 2 was up by Rs 150 to Rs 9400, grams 50x50 also gained Rs 500 to Rs 8750, grams Dall 50x50 followed same pattern, picking up Rs 400 to Rs 10600, yellow peas Russia rose by Rs 175 to Rs 4150 and yellow peas Dall Russian appreciated by Rs 200 to Rs 4600, they said.
On the seeds front, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh new was unmoved at Rs 2000 while best quality was lower by Rs 20 to Rs 2080, rapeseeds Nawabshah and Mirpurlane drifted lower by Rs 100 to Rs 2000 and Rs 2050, cakes dropped by Rs 5 to Rs 900 and Rs 990 in the slow trading, they added. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, dealers said.
