'Women representation neglected in LB polls'

Co-ordinator of women group Hyderabad formed by Aurat Foundation to protect rights of women, Hasseen Musrat has said that all political parties had not given due representation to women in Local Bodies elections in Sindh. She said this while addressing the press conference held at Hyderabad Press Club (HPC), here on Tuesday.
No political party nominated women candidates in LB elections, she said. She further said the violence against women witnessed a rise during current year as compared to last year. She urged government to take strict action against those involved in violence against women.
