The Met Office on Friday forecast more rains with snowfall for the quake-stricken mountainous areas during next week. It said that snowfall was expected over the hills of Malakand and Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. It said that a westerly wave was heading towards Pakistan and likely to approach upper parts of the country on Sunday (tomorrow) evening.
The new weather system is expected to trigger rain/thundershower at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
