Mistreatment of PCB officials in India: PPP submits resolution in National Assembly

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Thursday submitted a resolution in National Assembly regarding mistreatment of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials by Shiv Sena extremists in India. The resolution was submitted by Imran Zafar Leghari, Shazia Atta Marri, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Dr Nafisa Shah and Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani.
"The House strongly protests against the recent mistreatment of PCB officials by Shiv Sena in India. We also vehemently condemn the recent chain of incidents of hostility against Pakistani nationals on diplomatic and cultural fronts and urge the government to summon the Indian High Commissioner immediately to lodge strong protest; appeals the government to take this issue fervently internationally and declare Shiv Sena an extremist organisation", he added.
