The Anti-Encroachments Department during its special action removed all sorts of encroachments including iron counters, sugarcane juice machines, push carts and trolleys from main road and pavements from the route of main Muharram mourning procession. The encroachments were removed on the directive of KMC Administrator Sajjad Hussain Abbasi, said a statement on Thursday. The anti encroachments staff removed these encroachments from M.A Jinnah Road, Saddar near Regal Chowk, Preedy Street and near Husainia Iranian Imam Bargha.
