Futures spreads up by 259 basis points

Futures spreads grew by 259 basis points to 13.38 percent from 10.78 percent of the preceding week. The week, which ended on October 16, however, saw average daily trading volumes declining 25.4 percent to 23.74 million shares compared to the previous 31.83 million.
The average daily traded value also remained downward 27 percent at Rs 2.223 billion as against Rs 3.040 billion.
