Strong demand pushed grams prices up on the grain market on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Dall Australia gained Rs 1300 to Rs 10300, grams 50x50 followed same patterns, picking up Rs 325 to Rs 8950, grams dall 50x50 rose by Rs 800 to Rs 10300, yellow peas Dall Russia, however, shed Rs 100 to Rs 3800, dealers said.
On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was sharply higher by Rs 500 to Rs 10250, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they added. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality shed Rs 10 to Rs 1550 and the good type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 1625, they said. Prices did not move any side on the rice sector, they said.
