Outgoing US Ambassador Richard Olson paid farewell call on Interior Minister here at Punjab House Islamabad on Thursday. Pak-US relations and multifaceted mutual co-operation between the two countries was discussed during the meeting. Matters relating to the forthcoming visit of the prime minister to US also came under discussion.
The Interior Minister appreciated the contributions of the outgoing ambassador towards further improving and strengthening Pak-US relations. He expressed his best wishes for the future life and professional assignments of the outgoing ambassador. US Ambassador thanked the Government of Pakistan and the Interior Minister for the co-operation extended to him during his tenure as ambassador.-PR
