Worst power load shedding of over 18 hours is making the lives of the residents of Swat miserable as dozens of power transformers in Mingora city and adjacent areas went out of order. The situation has forced the residents of Shagai to protest. The residents led by district councillor, Amirzeb Sheheryar and tehsil councillor, Dr Khalid Mehmood Khalid staged march to the residence of PTI MPA Fazal Hakim and register protest.
The protestors were saying that power transformer at Shagai had went out of order four days back that has deprived the residents of power facility while on the other hand worst load shedding is continued in the district and its duration has crossed over 18 hours. The situation has multiplied the miseries of the fasting Muslims while the load shedding has also triggered power scarcity. The ice factories are facing difficulties in manufacturing of ice leaving the people with no option other than drinking hot water and have difficulty in making ablution for prayers.
