It is our privilege to offer our sincere and warmest greetings to the Government and people of the Russian Federation on their National Day. Relations of Russia with Islamic Republic of Pakistan have witnessed frequent ups and downs, as a consequence of which there has been little stability and progress.
While there has always been great potential for economic growth and political interaction between the two countries. In the 70's Russia's co-operation for building the country's only steel mill proved a milestone for economic relations between the two countries. Unfortunately, the spirit of co-operation could not be taken forward in the 80's and onward.
For this, we at Taco Metalsasia Ltd and Sabina Pak Ltd have been trying to enhance trade between the two countries for the last over twenty years. We have been dealing in exports of several items especially steels from Russia to other countries particularly Pakistan. The success of connecting Russia to the rest of the world through business can be judged through our efforts as we have established our business offices in different countries such as UAE, UK, Jordon, Ukraine (Kiev & Mariupol) and Pakistan at Karachi and Lahore.
Our dynamic team of highly qualified professionals who are connecting Russia to all countries of the business world by providing them different export items especially steel. Our overseas offices has not only banking specialists but a Business Research and Development section too, who are always busy to find out the possibilities of sale of different products from Russia to other countries.
This would not be out of place to say that in all the important projects in Pakistan our exported steel products have been used. We have extended our co-operation to Pakistan Steel for it's expansion and major repairs.
Pakistan must expand economic relations with Russia in the domain of energy and increase its trade in keeping with the geo-economic trends of world politics. We are playing a very active role in the progress of socio-economic aspects of both the countries and hoping to establish joint venture in different types of steel industries.
There are several other indication to show that Pakistans' desire for a normal relation-ship with Russia, which is also reciprocated by Russian Federation. Pakistan had been appreciative of Russian balanced approach towards South Asia and attached independence significance "to its relations with Pakistan." We wish the people of Russian Federation a happy prosperous future and look forward to a stronger economic relation between the two countries.
