Ambassador of Mexico, Ulises Canchola called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here Wednesday. Prospects of promotion of co-operation in different sectors between Pakistan and Mexico were discussed during the meeting. Talking to Mexican ambassador, the Chief Minister said that there is a need of promotion of co-operation in education, health, agriculture, auto industry and other sectors between Pakistan and Mexico.
He said that further contacts are necessary for increasing bilateral trade and economic relations. He said that both the countries should exchange delegations for enhancing ties in different sectors. Shahbaz Sharif said that exchange of trade delegations can play an important role in the promotion of economic bonds. He said that Punjab Investment Board should make necessary steps regarding promotion of mutual relations. Ambassador of Mexico said that his country will welcome promotion of co-operation in different sectors. He said that Mexico wants to work jointly with Pakistan in trade, economy and other sectors and steps are necessary for the promotion of economic co-operation between both the countries. Provincial Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Secretary Higher Education, Chairman Punjab Investment Board and Chief Executive Officer Punjab Investment Board were also present on the occasion.
