Most of the commodities maintained an upward trend on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab gained Rs 875 to Rs 10125, Moong Afghan was up by Rs 25 to Rs 12000, wheat new Bardan was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 3075, they said.
On the rice sector, irri-6 Sindh rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3350-3450, other types maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1550 and Rs 1625, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams side, they said.
